Apple is a dear, dear brand to many of us, entrepreneurs, because despite motley differences in opinion as to which versions are best, we can all agree that its visionary products have helped facilitate our respective businesses.
We all know that Apple designs, manufactures and markets mobile communication and media devices and personal computers, and sells a variety of related software, services, accessories, networking solutions and third-party digital content and applications.
Yet for many of us, it's the company where we get our iPhones, iPads, Macs, Apple Watches.
(1) It is generally an upward trend for this tech giant's net sales numbers, but really it has not broken past its peak in 2015.

(2) 2015 has been one where Apple has truly released new products all across the year. So many, in fact, that it’s probably difficult to recall every single new hardware and software product without referencing the history books. Innovation at its finest is what we see Apple products to be.

(3) There's also a definitive increase with operating expenses in 2017 versus 2015, without the commensurate increase in net sales--which means inefficiency was brewing between those years.
(4) Usually iPhone sales carry the company revenue throughout the year as seen in 2015, but 2017 hasn't fared particularly well. There's a growing opportunity in Europe, Japan and Rest of Asia Pacific. We are seeing decrease in China numbers, despite this market remains robust. Perhaps the US-China trade war had something to do with it.
In summary, 2015 remains to be Apple's best year yet. Operations were efficient, innovations were there, and international markets were positive about its products.
What this means is: Apple needs to be racking up on new research that can captivate once again - and look into efficiently and effectively penetrating international markets.
I can't wait to see what 2018 holds for Apple.
